Sawyer’s Internal Auditing

Sawyer’s Internal Auditing
A landmark internal auditing student text. Published by the *Institute of Internal Auditors, the book first appeared in 1973, and is named for the author of its first editions, *Laurence B. Sawyer. Following the author’s death the book has been updated by other writers, but the retention of the name Sawyer in its title is a reflection of the book’s (and the original author’s) prestige. It remains a valued text for the study of internal auditing, for both university curricula and the * Certified Internal Auditor professional examinations. Further reading: Sawyer et al. (2003)
