Commonwealth Association for Corporate Governance
CAGC A London-based international organization that has issued *corporate governance guidance. The CAGC addresses corporate governance in the countries of the British Commonwealth, a group of former members of the British Empire that includes India, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom itself. In association with the Commonwealth Business Council, the CAGC has issued a set of corporate governance principles (CAGC Guidelines, 1999). The principles include the importance of adequate communication with *stakeholders (Principle 7) and the importance of corporate *risk assessment (Principle 14).
