A collection of scholarly accounting essays. Founded in 1983, Advances in Accounting is published annually by Elsevier Science in print format only. Its notes describe its mission in the following terms: "To provide a forum for discourse among and between academic and practicing accountants on issues of significance to the future of the discipline."
