KPMG International
A global accounting, auditing, and professional services firm. One of the *Big Four firms, KPMG was established in its current form in 1987 by the merger of Peat Marwick International and Klynveld Main Goerdeler. The geneology of the firm is complex, with the roots of Peat Marwick International in the United Kingdom and the United States in the nineteenth century, and the roots of Klynveld Main Goerdeler in Germany and the Netherlands in the twentieth century.
