Milne, Robert B.
d. 1964 A U.S. internal auditing pioneer. Milne was one of three "founding fathers" of the *Institute of Internal Auditors (HA), along with *Victor Z. Brink and *John B. Thurston. An early internal auditing pioneer with the Columbia Engineering Corporation, he was elected the IIAs second president in 1942. Further reading: Flesher (1991)
